The Avon Descent is an annual, two-day, white water event along the Avon and Swan Rivers in Western Australia. It includes both paddle craft and small motor boats, and runs from Northam to the Perth suburb of Bayswater. We had great fun capturing some awesome shots of the competitors coming through the rapids from above. It’s difficult to capture these from the banks of the river, as the competitors go by so fast and the view is often obscured by the beautiful scenery. The drone allows us to get the best of both worlds – some great footage and imagery of both the river and the people on it!
